Its important foresightedness in the field of “shipping agency” accompanied its growth in the line agency.Since September 2016, it continues to be the general agent of UFS and MCL in Turkey under the brand of “Atako Taşımacılık Denizcilik A.Ş.” The latest successful link in the maritime field was achieved by becoming the Turkish general agency for NMT Shipping, one of the leading “Roll on/ Roll off” logistics solution providers in 2013.
Atako added higher quality and extensive service capacity in both land and air transportation to match its leading image in the maritime sector. It has become the preferred brand in both national and international land transportation with its self-owned taut liner and container transportation trucking rigs. The added bonus of IATA membership guarantees airport offices and an agency network at every point in the world.

Based on extensive experience in cargo and container transportation, Atako followed the changes in the Turkish market by constantly improving its service range. Since the 1990s it added open and closed bonded warehouses, container terminal facilities, gas stations and an operational vehicle rental fleet to its structure.
